Getting Referrals

You're part of a PTC and you are trying to get people to join using your ref link, sounds easy enough but you realise eventually that there are many other people in the same situation trying to get people to join via their ref links also, so how do you get an edge above the rest? Follow some of these tips and your sure to have some more ref's in no time.


1. Blogs/Websites
With this, all you do is create a website or blog and post your referral links on there, give a description of each site and then advertise your blog or website anywhere you can from your myspace, online forums etc... to attract visitors.


2. Online Forums
If your a member of an online forum you can do many things to help advertise your ref links:

* Place referral links in your signature
* Create a post containing your referral links (if need explain what PTC is)
* Link the WWW under your avatar to your blog, forum post, website or other
* If it's an online forum where people can donate money either directly to the forum or to a site the forum is a part of (like a game site or similar) and someone asks about how they can earn money without donating their own money either mention your website/blog or post about what PTC's are and your ref links

Things are different from forum to forum (such as the type of forum it is and the rules of those forums) so just make sure what and where your posting is ok with the rules of the forums before you post and whatever you do.


3. Recommend people you actually know

Referrals are the lifeblood of your earnings. Without referrals there is no point in clicking ads. There are many ways to refer people, few of them are as follows:

* As a member of an online forum you can place your referral links in your signature.
* There are several forums dedicated to PTC sites and these provide you with an opportunity to advertise your referral links.
* Social networking sites such as Myspace provide the tools for you to post and inform other people of PTC sites and to post your referral link. I have used this to great success.
* You can email the people you know who will be interested in this kind of thing.
* Just talks to people you know and meet in real life. Most people would love to make more money, and will be grateful if you can help them meet their goals.
* Use the money you have made to get advertising space on PTC sites. Preferably use popular sites or new sites and hopefully you will get many new referrals because of it.

Tips in Succeeding in Paid to Click

1. Find 10-15 trusted sites that you can visit every day. Look for sites that have a consistent amount of ads every day and have a good history pf paying on time. Keep a close eye on your sites. A site that was great last month may be sold or go away next month.

How to Know PTC is trustworthy or not?

Before joining a ptc site you should always do a research on the internet to see if it’s trusted or not or what are people saying about it.
In the next few paragraphs I will present you some of the things you could take in consideration when checking a ptc site and also you will find a couple of sites where you can find real information about scam and trusted ptcs.

* First of all – take a look at the fee they perceive from their advertisers and then compare it to the fee they are paying to the members. If they pay the members more than they ask from their advertisers then the website is not financially sustainable. In other words they don’t make a profit from it and it will not last for long, even if you can’t seem to find complaints about it, yet.

* Make a short research on Google with the name of the ptc domain you are verifying followed by the word “scam”. If people are complaining about that particular ptc site you will find it in the first result pages for sure.

* There should always be a forum for the members to discuss their issues. Check if the ptc has a forum and take a close look in the forum. See if there are complaints or issues to be solved and how exactly the admin is answering to those posts. If there aren’t complaints of any kind, or bugs or issues to solve then probably the admin is removing the inconvenient posts. A ptc site like that is 80% scam.

* Go to whois.net and do a search for the ptc’s domain. You can find there when the website was registered, where was it registered, what hosting service is using. If it is a free hosting or a free domain or even in a country you’ve never heard of then it is not a trustworthy ptc site. If the owner is not willing to invest in his business the minimum amount possible then he will not invest in his members either.

* Take a look at the ads shown in the member area. If the majority of the ads lead to threads in its own forum or to different offers also from its own website then the ptc is not trustworthy. Think about it for a second. Why should someone be happy to pay you to see things you already see in the member area?!… Even if it pays you once, the ptc is not going to last with this kind of profit strategy.

* The website looks totally unprofessional. Like I said above, if the owner is not willing to invest something in his business it’s hard to believe he will invest in his members.

* You get more than $0.01/click. If you see something like that then it should ring the bell. For more than $0.01 per click advertisers could use Adwords for targeted people. If you find a ptc that pays you like $0.07, I don’t recommend wasting your time with it.

* If the ptc asks you to upgrade in order to receive your payments then it is not trustworthy. Beside the fact that you might pay the money to upgrade and never get the money you earned earlier from clicking, a trusted ptc pays its members even with a standard membership.

* On the front page the payout is $2 and in the Terms of Service the payout is $10.

* These are first things you should check before joining a ptc site. It may take a couple of minutes, but it’s worth the effort. It’s not pleasant at all to work a few days or more and at the end to see it’s all a big scam.

What is a Paid to Click site?
A Paid to Click site (PTC), is a site which advertisers use to market their websites, products and services. Members (like you and me) register on the site and view the ads. For each ad you view you are paid a certain amount. The current standard is $0.01 (keep reading to learn how to make much more) and you will need to view each ad for 30 seconds.

How Does It Work?
The process is amazingly simple. Once you create a free account on the websites given on this website, you can start clicking on links that these sites are provided under the tabs like “View ads”, “Surf Ads” etc. You will view the advertised website for at least 30 seconds and then click a button in order to confirm your viewing. * Reputation

Research each site (that I haven’t listed) and make sure there is proof of people getting paid. Keep track of which sites you join using Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, pen and paper or any other method you want. This is definitely recommended if you are going to join lots of sites. Also I strongly advise that you have a different password for PTC sites and AlertPay and Paypal. This way your earnings are more secure.

After Registration follow these Steps

* Login to these sites and look for the Surf ads or View ads link.
* Once you click that link, you will see 5-10 ads.
* Click on first ad and wait for 30 seconds, you will see a timer on the top of the page.

* Once the 30 seconds are over you will see a Green tick mark, which implies that you are
credited with money for viewing that ad.

* Similarly follow the same for all other ads and all other sites.
* You have to login daily and click on the ads. Each program will have 5-10 ads.

* Do not open multiple ads with multiple windows from the same website! you will not
